The Bin2Bean project is pleased to announce the release of two new online training courses designed to strengthen knowledge and skills in the field of sustainable bio-waste management and soil improver innovation. The courses are freely available and provide participants with practical insights, expert guidance, and the opportunity to earn a Bin2Bean Certificate of Attendance upon successful completion of the final quizzes.
Training No. 1 – Unlocking EU Funding for Soil Improver Innovations
This course introduces participants to European and national funding opportunities supporting innovation in bio-waste-derived soil improvers. It explores how EU funding mechanisms operate, provides guidance on developing competitive project proposals, and offers practical knowledge on market readiness, business development, and innovation uptake.

Training No. 3 – Awareness Raising and Community Engagement
The second available course focuses on stakeholder engagement across the waste-to-soil value chain. Participants will gain an understanding of the relevant European legal framework, identify key intervention points to improve bio-waste quality, and explore innovative communication approaches, including traffic light awareness campaigns and AI-assisted biowaste contamination detection.

Earn Your Certificate
Participants who successfully complete the final quizzes for each course will receive an official Bin2Bean Certificate of Attendance, recognising their newly acquired knowledge and commitment to advancing sustainable bio-waste management practices.
