Shaping the Future of Soil Health Through Bio-Waste Innovation

How can innovative bio-waste solutions improve soil health across Europe, and what role does policy play in enabling or limiting their uptake?

Join us on Friday, 22 May 2026, at the European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE 2026) in The Hague for a policy-focused event bringing together the Horizon Europe sister projects Bin2Bean and bioSOILUTIONS under the Mission Soil framework, with the support from the FENIX project.

About the Event

This interactive session will explore how bio-waste valorisation can support soil restoration and circular nutrient management across Europe. It will also examine how policy frameworks can better align with innovation and real-world implementation.

What to Expect

Participants will gain insights from Living Labs across Europe, showcasing real-world applications and experiences. The session will also present key results and innovation actions from EU-funded projects. A central element of the event will be the co-creation and refinement of a Policy Roadmap, developed with participant input, building on existing work available at https://lnkd.in/drHRByUR.

The session will include contributions from experts and initiatives such as FertiCovery Project and IASIS Project, fostering exchange, identifying synergies, and strengthening pathways toward a circular bioeconomy. Stakeholders from policy, research, industry, and across the bio-waste value chain are invited to actively participate and share their perspectives.
